Recently I got a HP 27-B014 and you can read the user manual and it is very unclear how to control things like volume control on the HDMI-in function when using an external device like another computer or game system and switching to HDMI is not independent of the computer part of this AIO computer for some odd reason. So after many hours of searching the net and reading the manual, I learned that on my model you can use the keyboard volume control if you still have the original keyboard or you can switch over to windows 10 by hitting the button on the back and use the volume control on windows 10 to adjust the volume or mute etc. and then switch back to HDMI-in. Why was this made to be difficult? I would have liked a few buttons under the panel to control the monitor.

@computarman

You have to control volume from its source the screen acts as a monitor only.
