Help! "No audio devices are installed" listed in Control Panel - Sound. No onboard audio device, hidden devices, or devices missing drivers in Device Manager. UEFI audio test returns 'Audio Test Not Available on This Device." Manually invoking "Action / Add driver" in "Sound Video and Game Controllers" folder in Control Panel pointed to SWSetup folder does nothing. Either the motherboard onboard audio is damaged / malfunctioning or there is some other issue that is beyond me. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

@ScottPreston, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It sounds like your OMEN has a serious onboard audio issue, especially since no audio devices appear in Device Manager, even with hidden devices shown. Since UEFI audio tests are unavailable, the system doesn’t even recognize the audio hardware, which could mean a BIOS setting, driver conflict, or hardware failure.
First, check the BIOS settings by restarting your PC and pressing F10 to enter the BIOS. Look for Audio under Advanced or Device Configuration and ensure it's enabled. If it's missing or disabled, enable it and restart. If that doesn’t help, reset the BIOS to default settings and try again.
Next, in Device Manager, go to View > Show hidden devices, then check if Sound, Video, and Game Controllers or Audio inputs and outputs appear. If nothing is listed, try scanning for hardware changes by clicking Action > Scan for hardware changes.
If the onboard audio still doesn’t show up, go to HP’s support website, download the latest audio drivers, and try manually installing them. You can use the HP Support assistant to install the drivers.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue
