I have been having issues with the sound driver. But am able to use bluetooth speaker for sound. I'm using an OMNI27 with beats audio installed in it. I downloaded the HP PC Hardwqare diagnostics windows 1.8.1.0 this morning and ran the system tests and it came back with the "Short Drive Self-Test" failed. all others passed. I want to know what this means and does it have anything to do with the audio driver, and is it an easy fix or do I need to have a service done?

Hi:
If you received a Short Drive Self-Test failure report, that means the hard drive is on its way out, and may need to be replaced.
Back up any files you don't want to lose as soon as possible,
For the onboard audio, see if this W10 audio driver from a newer model AIO PC also works on yours.
Restart the PC after installing the driver.

Thank you Paul_Tikkanen, I was able to download the driver and it worked fine. As far as the hard drive goes I have what I need backed up which isn't much. Hopefully I will be able to upgrade to a windows 11system before it goes out completely. Thank You.

You're very welcome.
You could also replace the hard drive if it fails completely.
Below is the link to the service manual.
670182-SJ2_Bodie_USG_APJ.book (hp.com)
You can reinstall W10 for free by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the Microsoft media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
Boot from the installation media, when you get to the part of the installation that asks what version of W10 you want to install, select the same version of W10 that you had for W10.
Then you will be asked to enter a product key.
Select the 'I don't have a product key' option, and W11 will install and automatically activate after you are connected to the internet.
