Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Here are the steps to get you up and running:
Connecting Your Printer:
- Download the HP app: On your Pixel 8 Pro, go to the Google Play Store and download the HP app.
- Turn on Wi-Fi: Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on your phone and that you're connected to the same wireless network that you want to connect your printer to.
Put your printer in setup mode:
- Turn on your printer.
- Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons on the printer control panel at the same time for five seconds.
- The Power button and the Wireless light will flash, which means your printer is in setup mode.
- Add your printer in the HP Smart app.
Open the HP Smart app:
- Tap the plus sign (+) to add a new printer.
- The app will show two options, please select "set up a new printer".
- The app will search for your printer. Once it finds it, tap on your printer's model name to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
- Follow the on-screen instructions: The app will guide you through the rest of the setup process. Once completed, you'll be able to print directly from your Pixel 8 Pro.
For a visual guide on setting up your printer with the HP Smart App, you can refer to this video.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
