I am having issues using both a Microphone and Speakers on my desktop. I have the speakers plugged into the back of the tower, and they work just fine until I plug my headset into the 3.5MM jack on the top of the computer. All audio gets directed throught the headphone jack when plugged in.
I would like the game audio to come through the speakers and have the headset work stricly as a Microphone.
Please Advise & Thank you in Advance.

Welcome to the HP Forums!
Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.
I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to use the headphone jack only as Mic.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
If you want to use the headphone only for the Mic then I recommend you connect the headphones to the Mic port on the computer and you can use only the Mic on the headphones.
However, if you connect the headphones to the headphones jack you will get the audio from the headphones and it is by design.
Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
