Windows did a big update a few days ago, and now my HP w1907 monitor has no sound. The monitor's Volume button shows volume at 0. The Speakers icon on the taskbar of the brand new PC , HP Pavilion TP01-1026, shows volume at 100. I have updated the drivers several times and restarted the PC. How do I get sound from my monitor's speakers?

hi
"The monitor's Volume button shows volume at 0 "
Hello
according to this there should be no link with windows update
You say that the level remains at zero, but is it not possible to change this with the buttons on the screen?
If there is no effect, the problem is with your screen!
Also to check, because you never know, try computer speakers, at worst headphones!
if it works it is the screen which is in question
