I have 2 HDMI TV's for monitors and I am getting sound on one or the other but not both. How can I get sound on both outputs at the same time? Envy 750-514 with windows 10 Home.

Thanks for any help

@LarryP3
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Step 1: Use the correct HDMI cable for your HDMI device
  • Step 2: Select HDMI sound output as the default audio device
  • Step 3: Run the Audio Check in HP Support Assistant
  • Step 4: Use the Windows Sound troubleshooter
  • Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01186408 to complete the troubleshooting steps.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I can get sound on #1 or #2 HDMI outputs, whichever one is selected as default. But not both at the same time.

How can I accomplish this?

Thank you for posting back.

To get the answer to this question, HDMI port does not have the ability to send two different audio streams through the same time, so there is no device you can connect to an HDMI port that will provide you with that capability.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
