This issue is not related tto OS as used to get this problem even in win 10 pro
Hp pro desk 600 g2 sff
So basically my pc has an audio managing software name Dts Audio Experience 
Whenever i put my headphone in that combo jack at front it makes me choose a mode for it

when i select headphone only audio comes andwith line in the line in at rear panel (black) comes but it doesn't do anything
when i choose mic in the mic works kinda but it records very faint 

i tested this with speak to search in youtube and google and they were sometimes able to understand what i say

So the main issue i am having is that i am not able to use the speaker and mic of my headphones simultaneously

i would have considered getting a 2 male and 1 female audio and mic splitter but my pc only has line in (green) and a blue coloured port at back
