Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

The audio device has mysteriously disappeared from my Device list. I have tried all of the ways suggested by the troubleshooter to no avail. I have also tried downloading "suggested" drivers and that hasn't worked either. Suggestions, please?

is it in error, or not visible at all in the device manager?
if you have windows 7, so you have tried this one?

I downloaded the file you sent and it just runs and runs. There is still no audio device listed in the Device Manager. The file never loaded.

I told you the first original driver available for your computer, provided by HP..
The second is also an HP driver, but anyway useless, does not install according to what you mention
What does this have to do with "promethee has breached my security."?
I have no access to your computer!?

you just say that not visible, so it would be necessary to say a little more about your situation
Since when did you notice the problem, did you do anything in particular?
it is quite clear that the device is not visible at all, in the device manager, there are no errors listed

It tells me that there is no audio device available. None of the options have worked so far.

None of the "supposed" answers fix the problem. And the HP Support Assistant is useless - it just spins and spins with no solution. I have a HP Pavilion p7-1246s desktop running Windows 7. I have never found on Google, any solution or answer to my problem.
