I have an issue with speaker setup (unknown) with no sound, it's showing there's no audio device installed in my computer, I've tried installling hd rrealtek hd audio latest version but still same resuults, I've tried restarting my audio driver, also unninstaling it , & several other methods. what realtek audio drive from hp do I install?

If the BIOS is set to its default settings, I suspect the audio chip has failed on the motherboard.

 

I have an 8000 Elite CMT and Windows 7, 8, and 10 automatically installs the audio driver.

 

I think it will probably not work, if you have not tried this already, you can install the W10 Realtek audio driver directly from the Realtek website:

 

I used that one on my 8000 Elite to update the audio driver to the newer version than what Windows installs.

You should also be able to use the W10 Realtek audio driver from the HP 800 G1 desktop PC:

I have  already tried installing realtek audio from realtek but still didn't resolve the issue.  I  also have an error with my speaker icon that says (speaker setup unknown)

I wasn't able to find  the  audio download in HP under drivers
