My older computer died and my son gave me his computer. I am using my HP23 2310 that worked fine with my older desktop. I had to adjust settings to get a decent image, but it seems that my audio form the integrated speakers is so low that it works on testing but no where else. I also tried to use a microphone the computer said it was not plugged in. It seems that I am going to have to purchase new items. I have logitech speakers not new either and will try them. Just getting frustrated that HP has become so proprietary. I am also having issues with my laptop because I needed to replace battery and adapter (my dog got to the end of the adapter ) but my HP doesn't recognize when the adapter is plugged in and will charge only when lid is closed. There are no products available from HP they are out of stock. I am need to have a working computer. Is there any way to get my computers up and running to full capacity.
