I get intermittent sound, looks like something is turned ON and immediately OFF. Please help. I recently moved from Win 10 to Win 11. But I'm not sure if that was the origin of the problem. Please help. Thank you.

It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating audio driver issue on your HP Desktop with Windows 11.
Here are a few steps you can try to address the problem.
Uninstall and Reinstall Audio Drivers:
- Uninstall Drivers: Go to Device Manager (you can search for it in the Start menu). Expand the Sound, video and game controllers section. Right-click on your audio device and select Uninstall device. Make sure to check the box that says Delete the driver software for this device.
- Reinstall Drivers: After uninstalling, restart your computer. Windows should automatically reinstall the default audio driver. If not, you can manually download and install the latest driver from the HP website.
Check Windows Updates:
- Sometimes Windows updates can affect drivers. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for any pending updates. Install them if available, as they might include fixes for your issue.
Run Windows Troubleshooter:
