Having gone through the Community postings and not finding an appropriate solution to the problems my system is having, I offer the following:
I have a HP Envy, Windows 11 PC, Version 24H2, 64 bit operating system, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER A/V card. When using a Logitech BCC950 for Zoom conferences, the audio for the microphone quickly cuts out and a flickering develops in the video display. The Zoom App Versions is 6.3.0.0. All other drivers, as best I can assess, are up to date and there are no other system operation problems. The Logitech conference cam is a plug & play item that works well in a Windows 10 environment.
I’ve gone through many of the checklist possibilities of potential solutions on the Zoom Community postings too. Are there driver updates or other solutions available for the Windows 11 system environment to resolve these issues?
Thank you -

Hi @SwedeGuy8,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
It sounds like your Logitech BCC950 Conference Cam is having compatibility issues with Windows 11 (24H2) and Zoom (6.3.0.0), causing microphone dropouts and video flickering. Since it worked well on Windows 10, there may be driver conflicts or Zoom-specific issues.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Update Logitech Drivers & Firmware
Even though the BCC950 is plug & play, Logitech sometimes releases updates that are not automatically installed via Windows Update.
- Download and install the Logi Tune software from Logitech:
🔗 Logi Tune Download - Check for firmware updates for the BCC950 in Logi Tune.
- If available, update and restart the system.
2. Check Windows 11 Camera & Microphone Permissions
- Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera & Microphone
- Ensure Zoom has access to both.
3. Try Different USB Ports
- Test the camera in different USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.
- Avoid using a USB hub—connect the camera directly to the PC.
4. Disable Windows USB Power Management
- Open Device Manager (Win + X → Device Manager)
- Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers
- Right-click Generic USB Hub → Properties
- Go to the Power Management tab → Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
- Repeat for all USB Root Hubs.
5. Update NVIDIA Graphics Drivers
Since you're experiencing video flickering, try updating or rolling back drivers:
- Update: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER drivers from NVIDIA’s website.
- If the issue started after a recent update, roll back:
- Device Manager → Display Adapters → GTX 1660 SUPER
- Properties → Driver → Rollback Driver (if available).
6. Zoom-Specific Fixes
- Go to Zoom Settings → Video:
- Disable “Optimize video quality with de-noise”
- Enable “Use hardware acceleration for video processing”
- Under Zoom Settings → Audio:
- Uncheck "Automatically adjust microphone volume"
- Set Suppress background noise to Low.
7. Test in Other Apps
- Try Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Windows Camera App.
- If the mic/video issue occurs only in Zoom, reinstall Zoom:
- Uninstall Zoom → Restart PC → Reinstall Zoom from Zoom’s website.
Final Steps
If the issue persists:
- Test on another Windows 11 PC to confirm a BCC950 & Windows 11 issue.
- If only Zoom is affected, try Zoom Web App as a workaround.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a great day ahead!
