Product: Hp pavillion h8-1160t
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After installing a fresh copy of windows 10 i get an error message that no audio device is installed and a red x next to the speaker icon on the task bar. I've tried the troubleshooters and updating the drivers which won't install because there's nothing to install them to according to the computer. 

Anyone have any suggestions?

See if installing this W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model PC also works on yours.

 

Restart the PC after installing the driver...

 

This package provides the Tempo High Definition Audio Driver for supported desktop models that are running a supported operating system.
