Headphone sound When I put the jack in the back panel the sound is lower than the front panel
How do I make the back panel sound the same as the front panel?
I've tried more than one Z230 case and they all have the same problem
Realtek sound card with latest drivers

It seems that you are experiencing a difference in sound volume between the back panel and the front panel when using headphones on your HP Z230 Tower Workstation with Microsoft Windows 11. Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:
Check audio settings: Right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "Open Sound settings." Under the "Output" section, make sure that the correct audio device is selected. Verify that the volume levels are balanced for both the front and back panel outputs.
Realtek HD Audio Manager: If you have the Realtek sound card, you may have the Realtek HD Audio Manager installed. Open the application and navigate to the "Connector Settings" or a similar option. Look for options to adjust the audio output balance between the front and back panels. Ensure they are set to the same level.
Update audio drivers: Visit the official HP support website, search for your specific model (HP Z230), and download the latest audio drivers for Windows 11. Install the drivers and restart your workstation. Outdated or incompatible audio drivers can sometimes cause volume inconsistencies.
Check headphone connections: Ensure that the headphone jack is securely inserted into both the front and back panel ports. Loose connections can lead to variations in sound volume.
Disable audio enhancements: Some audio enhancements or effects applied by default can affect volume levels. Right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, select "Open Sound settings," go to the "Sound Control Panel" (under Related Settings), select your audio device, and open its properties. In the enhancements tab, uncheck any audio effects or enhancements that may be enabled.
Hardware considerations: It's possible that there may be variations in the audio circuitry between the front and back panel outputs. This could result in differences in sound quality or volume. In such cases, it may not be possible to make the back panel sound exactly the same as the front panel.
