Microphone Driver

So my microphone audio driver doesn't work full stop. I had it before and had to complete wipe it off my PC and reinstall from online did fix it however it clearly wasn't permanent. I have run out of ideas and would appreciate help asap.

I understand that you are looking for a microphone driver.
Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Please can I have more than a google search.
The computer cannot detect the issue. Which is why I had to reinstall it manually the first time. Windows is fully updated.

I understand your concerns.
There are no microphone drivers separately.
I would suggets you uninstall the audio drivers, update the chipset drivers. Restart the computer then install the audio drivers.
Also, update the BIOS.
