Product: Hp desktop all in one

i use a headset plugged into the USB on the back. All of a sudden the microphone stopped working on all apps I use for work. I tried multiple headsets and checked all permissions,  I also updated computer,  restart, when I do a microphone test in settings it doesn't hear anything. No one I call can hear me. Please help my computer just hit a year old and I need to work.
