I am using a USB Turntable, plugged directly to a USB port on this all-in-one unit, to 'digitize' old vinyl recordings.
Is there a (simple) way to MONITOR the audio as the recording is taking place? I have not been able to find one, but may just be looking in the wrong place. (Gee, like I've never done THAT before...)
Thanks!

There used to be a setting in the audio section but it seems to be gone in Windows 10, so have a look at this.

Audacity (second example) used to free and easy to use.

Not so well. While it DID allow me to record, the was still no monitoring capability - and editing for audio-only is a function in their 'coming soon' category. I wish they'd have mentioned that BEFORE I paid for the software.
Anyway, I appreciate your efforts in trying to help. Nice knowing there are still folks like you around!
Have a great day.
PS - In Sound Settings, you can still have different input and output sources (Line-In CODEC audio and headphones out, e.g.); I'm guessing the new sound cards just don't pull double-duty.☹️
