Ive been having major volume issues which doesnt allow me to change my volume using the master volume mixer however i need to go to my volume mixer and change the app volume individually to do it, ive downloaded new audio drivers updated the pc much more still havent found a fix does anyone have any suggestions

I understand that you are facing volume is either max volume or muted, no middle ground issue.
Have you tried to update the BIOS?
Please run the SFC scan. you can refer to this Link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4026529/windows-10-using-system-file-checker
Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
