I bought the E2453 monitor and also the 2LC49AA speaker bar.
When I connect my laptop via HDMI, there is no audio. I connect the USB cord to the laptop and there IS audio.
I then connect my Amazon Fire Stick via HDMI and there is no audio.
How do I get audio from the shows I am watching on the Firestick?

Firstly I can find what is the E2453 monitor. For the speaker bar, which is the HP S100 Speaker Bar
http://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/getpdf.aspx/c05835048.pdf
and it is compatible with the following monitors
HP Displays Compatibility
E223, E233, E243, E243d, E243m, E243, E243i, E273, E273m, E273qZ22n G2, Z23n G2, Z24nf G2, Z24i G2, Z24n G2, Z27n G2
The speaker does not have HDMI port, only USB with 180cm cable.

OK, now I find E243 as mentioned on the subject, not E2453 as from your text. Its specs

It does NOT have speakers therefore you have to use the S100 speaker bar and the speaker bar ONLY has USB connection
Regards.

1) I apologize for that typo, but yes the monitor is the E243.
2) I understand that the monitor does NOT have a speakers, hence I bought the S100 Speaker bar. When I connect the USB cable from S100 to a laptop's USB port, I can hear the audio from the laptop's source.
However, if I connect the Amazon Firestick to the HDMI port of the monitor, how can I get the audio to play on the S100?
