Microsoft Windows 11

I just set up HP Envy Desktop PC, new yesterday, no sound at all.  I tried all HP fixes. Message is that audio is unplugged.  How do I fix this?

Did you install a pair of desktop PC speakers?

The PC does not come with an onboard speaker.

Thank you so much!  I thought something was wrong with the computer.  Will any speakers work with this?  Are any specified for this computer?

You're very welcome.

I don't know how much real estate you have on your desk, but you can use any pair of PC desktop speakers.

They range from large to small, expensive to inexpensive, fantastic sound quality to 'meh.'

This looks like a decent pair for a good price, for example.

These are somewhat more expensive but may sound better:

Shop around.

In the back of your PC, there should be a light green audio out jack that you plug the light green speaker jack into from the set of speakers.
