My sound isn't working today. I connected my speakers and it's still shows the speaker with the red X. I connected my headphones and it still shows the red X. This started happening a few hours ago, it was fine yesterday and the days before. I just bought this desktop tower brand new from Walmart 6 months ago. I go into sound output settings and it says "No output devices found." even though I have my speakers connected. How to fix it?

Hello
download the file here
Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver (Windows 10 v1709) | 6.0.8924.1 Rev.B | 88.3 MB | Apr 12, 2020 | Download |
then start the installation 'right click install as administrator' follow the instructions
The computer may restart on its own If not, restart once the installation is complete, wait for it to be done
When the computer restarts automatically, a new installation can be started, sometimes the old driver is deleted.
When the computer is in working condition, check if the audio is usable if not, simply restart the installation
If nothing at all you may have another problem
