I made a new installation of Windows 10 on my HP Pavilion 500-133eo Desktop PC ,but after that the sound is gone.
Driver update says that the drivers are OK for AMD high difinition audio device.
If I point at the speaker icon in lower right corner it says : No audio output device is installed.
The sound was working fine in the earlier version of Windows 10 that I had.
I have also used HP support assistant but it couldnt fix the problem since it only says that no new drivers are needed.
I guess new drivers are needed, but where can I find them and shall I first uninstall the AMD that I have?
Help would be highly appreciated!
Regards
Max

Hi, Max:
Do not uninstall the AMD HD audio device.
That is for the HDMI audio output.
Installing this W10 IDT audio driver and restarting the PC should get the onboard sound to work again.
Tempo High-Definition Audio Driver (Original IDT)
