Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I just purchased a new HP Desktop S01-pF2043wb and there is no sound.  

Should there be internal speakers built in or should it have come with external speakers?

According the the model number - that PC is a desktop.  Typically they do not have internal speakers for normal audio.  Just a small speaker of sorts, for beeping, as needed.  If you are using a TV or monitor that has internal speakers, and connected via HDMI then the sound can come from that device.  Otherwise, external speakers are needed.

Thank you.  I took the external speakers from my old desktop and I am using them with my new desktop.

It has been a long time since I purchased a new computer so I was surprised to learn that the speakers were not automatically included.
