Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

speaker sign in the bottom right corner constantly shows a red x through the speaker and if I click on it , it opens the troubleshooter and it says there is an error but nothing can be found. All help is appreciated

Hi:

 

If your PC originally came with W8.1 and has the IDT audio chip, see if installing this driver from a newer model AIO PC resolves the problem.   Restart the PC after installing the driver.

 

This package provides the IDT Tempo High Definition Audio Driver for supported desktop models that are running a supported operating system.
