No audio sound from internal speaker after upgrade from win 7 to 10. HP desktop computer DC7900

Hi:

 

Here is what I did to fix mine...

 

Download and install the W7 Soundmax audio driver for the dc7900, and restart the PC.

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp45501-46000/sp45615.exe

 

Then go to the windows control panel>hardware and sound>sound> manage audio devices, and set the internal PC speaker as the default.

 

I also went into the Soundmax app, checked to enable multistreaming and restarted the PC.
