HP Pavilion All-in-One PC 24-ca1000i (4N599AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

My sound is no longer working - everything indicates no speakers found, no microphone found, or no device detected. I've tried all the provided tests - all simply say not found.

It's an all-in-one, Everything is built in, definitely not removed. any help?

I fixed it. Almost too embarrassed to share, but in case it helps others. I don’t know where I went on my pc to locate more advanced system info. There under components under audio i saw an error under the Realtek audio.

I went ahead and looked at the HP support page for drivers and installed a new Realtek driver.

it works.

why the heck the HP nor Windows troubleshooting told me there was an error and to do a new driver….ugh. Hope this helps someone

I have a HP23-d160Qd "All-in-One that is out of warranty. The Microphone works but the internal speakers and the external Speaker jack do not work.  The external speakers and headset audio drivers are in the Audio list, but not the internal speakers.   I tried to reach out to HP support and MS, but they referred me to the Community because it is out of Warranty.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
