My Xbox ONe is plugged into my computer through the HDMI out on the xbox and the HDMI in on the computer. Video settings are able to go thorugh but no audio comes thorugh at all. It is not my xbox one beacuse i have plugged it into a TV to see if that would work and it did. Sound doesn't work only on this computer.

Hello, @Jacson – Hope you are well 🙂

Thanks for your continued participation with the HP Support Forums! I would glad to be of your assistance 🙂

Going through your post, I understand that you are facing issues with the audio while using the HDMI to connect to your XBox.

I found a wonderful document to help you fix this issue. Please follow the steps listed here: http://hp.care/2t51UU2

Start with the steps listed under "Select HDMI sound output as the default audio device".

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Good luck 🙂

HDMI does not appear on my computer for me to choose it as the default audio playback.

Hello, @Jacson

Try the steps listed here: Troubleshoot audio on your Xbox console

If the issue persists, then try using a different HDMI cable and check.

Let me know if that helps!

Cheers 🙂
