HP Pavilion desktop Windows 10 - I've never used a microphone either internal or external. I want to use Voice Recorder, and it appears to be recording via internal microphone. But when I try to play what I recorded, I get no sound. Input is Stereo Mix Realtek High Definition Audio. Output is Speakers Realtek High Definition Audio. Speakers work with all other sounds, just not with Voice recorder. Speakers are connected by being plugged in to the back of the computer. What do I have wrong? Please help.

How do you connect them ?
Regards.

BH, sorry it took me a while to reply. Did you see my answer that the speakers are just plugged into the back of the computer? The speakers work with you-tube, music, X, etc. The Voice Recorder acts like it’s recording, but when I try to play it back, no sound. Sure would appreciate some help.
