AMD Quad-Core A6-7310 APU
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

my laptop AMD Quad-Core A6-7310 APU is showing no speaker or headphones plugged in and showing a red X on the audio icon. It started when I was listening to music yesterday. I have tried updating the drivers, disable and enable, installation but yet nothing is happening

 

It started when I was listening to music then it just suddenly stopped, I even changes the OS expecting that the problem will be fixed but nothing 

Please help me

@Sage6 -- I suspect a hardware failure.

 

If the computer is less than one year old, exercise the HP Warranty to get it repaired/replaced, at HP's expense.

 

Otherwise, pay HP to trouble-shoot and fix. I doubt that you will find a "board-level" electrical technician who will be able to fix the motherboard.

 

An expensive replacement of the motherboard may be your only solution.
