Hi @albina22

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for sharing the failure ID and the symptom. Since headphones work but the built‑in speakers don’t, this points toward a hardware‑specific issue rather than a general audio driver problem. Before I can guide you on what part might need replacing, I need to understand a bit more about your setup:

  • Which HP product are you using (laptop, desktop, or all‑in‑one)?
  • If it’s a laptop, do you know the exact model name/number?
  • Have the speakers ever worked before, or did this issue appear suddenly?
  • Any recent drops, liquid exposure, or service history that might be relevant?

With those details, I can narrow down whether it’s likely the internal speaker assembly, the audio board, or something else. Could you share that information?

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
