HP TouchSmart 520-1050
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Upgraded the memory in my old desktop and tried to update the processor (failed). However, when I put the old processor back in and reinstalled Windows 10, the drivers for the speakers were different and now I have no sound. I believe it's the Realtek drivers.

Hi, @opheliablack

See if installing the W10 IDT audio driver version for desktop PC's gets the sound to work again.   Restart the PC after installing the driver.

VERSION: 6.10.6504.0

No, from its drivers site, no Windows 10 drivers

@Banhien So I downloaded the exe as suggested, but during the install I got a message that said the hardware for the drivers weren't detected. Which is weird because I haven't uninstalled anything. Thanks for giving it a go, though.

And we have a winner! Paul_Tikkanen, the drivers worked. So for anyone that lost drivers to this HP model, please give this solution a try. 👍  Also, drop the ftp at the start of the link and replace with https:// and it should work fine. The link should be
