On my ENVY laptop during Skype or Zoom calls, others say they hear a buzzing/static sound when I talk that interferes with understanding me.

@jules_M1 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting buzzing sound from audio during Zoom meetings.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Please perform the below steps and check.

Click Start->'Control Panel -> Sound -> Playback ->Select the entry that has Green Checj Over, click Properties. Click Advanced Tab above, unclick 'Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device',  click Apply/Ok.

1) Click Start=>Control Panel.
2. Double-Click on the ‘Sound’ Icon
3. Single-click the Speakers to highlight them on Play Tab
4. Click on Properties (bottom right corner)
5. Go to the Enhancements Tab and Click on it
6. Now click "Disable All Sound Effects"
7. Click OK/Apply.

Check if the issue has fixed.
