Product: HP EliteOne 800 G5 23.8-inch All-in-One
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Performed windows update and now no sound

System thinks everything is working fine but there is total silence. Have updated all drivers. have even tried restore from update (which failed twice).

Any help would be appreciated

Checked with ubuntu 24.04 from usb stick and perfect sound? ...

I have the same issue, if I uninstall the Symnatec  audio driver and reboot the PC the speakers work after rebooting, however the next time I boot up the PC the problem recurs and I have to repeat the process which is a pain.
