I continue to get this drive several times everyday for past month. Thus far today, it installed twice . I do I stopped this?

Hi:

 

You should be able to run the hide windows update utility which will prevent you from seeing that update anymore.

 

How to temporarily prevent a Windows Update from reinstalling in Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

 

The link to the file you need to run is broken, so I have zipped it up and attached it below.

 

Unzip and run the file.

 

A window will open and when it has completed running, you should see that Realtek Semiconductor Corp MEDIA 6.0.8924.1 update show up.

 

Check the box to hide the update and the utility will run and hide it.

 

The next time you restart your PC, and run Windows update, you should not see that update appear anymore.
