Rear audio out jack not working.

I have followed all instructions from Virtual Adviser, I have tested the speakers on another PC.

The internal speakers are working and the front headphone jack is working.

Speakers are not recognised by device manager when connected via the rear jack.

Want I need to know is: can the audio jack be replaced or is it an integral part of the mainboard and therefore that has to be replaced.

Thanks for any advice.

@rjmcg -- open the Windows "Settings". Find the "sound" app. Within it, scroll-down to the "Audio Output" section. What is the current audio-output device -- front jack or back jack or internal speakers ?
