Product: 24 inch monitor label says w2408h
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A small window pops up,  It is for audio volume level changes, but no input is allowed.  Neither is any way to kill it.  Cannot put moved, always just sits right in the middle of the screen.  Making me consider throwing the monitor in the trash.  No assistance seems to be possible from HP.  Anybody every seen this thing?  Here is  a screen capture,  Audio Ghost.jpg

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Did you check the volume button whether it's pressed in or any blockage?
