My sound driver on the PC is not working at all. I've tried troubleshooting it but there has been no change.

If you are running W10, see if installing this W10 audio driver and restarting the PC gets the sound to work again:

 

Tempo High-Definition Audio Driver (Original IDT)

 

6.10.6504.0
