HP ENVY x360 Convertible

I purchased an HP ENVY x360 just over a year ago, and I am having issues with my front-facing speaker. Whenever I turn the volume up to right around 30, then the sound distorts and buzzes. I have never had the problem before this morning. I nearly never listen to anything at 100 volume, so I can rule out that I have over-used the speakers. It does this only when something is playing, like a video or music, and when it's louder than 30 volume. As far as I can tell, it makes no other sounds when nothing is playing. I have to say, I am pretty confused because I've only had it for a year and do not use the laptop speakers often. Is anyone having the same issue, or does someone know what this is?
