This is a peer to peer forum, not HP technical support.
In the USA/Canada you can call this number to speak with a HP support person...

Hi:
I'm looking at the product specs for that monitor, and I don't see any information regarding speakers or audio inputs.

If it has built in speakers somewhere, then the only way you will be able to get them to work is via a HDMI out port from the PC, to the monitor via a HDMI cable.

Unfortunately not.
DVI only carries video, so using a DVI to HDMI cable won't work.
You would need to add a supported graphics card with an HDMI out port for your PC, and unless you have a HP business-class PC, I wouldn't be able to advise you what graphics cards would work.

I wish I could speak to someone from HP, I need to find the answer. Their page says if monitor to computer connection is VGA cable(Which mine is), an additional audio cable is needed between monitor and computer. Doesn't say what kind of cable. I just bought this, why don't they provide the cable or at least tell you what kind you need to buy? I have video, just no audio.
