Could you please share a few details so we can better understand the issue with the AC3 codec?

What is the exact HP laptop or desktop model you are using?

Where are you seeing the AC3 codec error, while playing a video, using a media player, or in a particular application?

What is the exact error message displayed?

Are you using Windows 10 or Windows 11?

 

If the error appears while playing a video, please also mention which media player you are using (for example, Movies & TV, Media Player, or VLC).

With these details, we can identify whether the issue is related to the media player, codec support, or Windows configuration and suggest the appropriate solution.
