How do I add an internal sound card to an HP Pavilion tp01-3055xt? The cabinet doesn't have the typical plate to remove for the card. Is there an adapter or a specific model of sound card?

A lot of these new PC's don't have the removable PCI mounting bracket blanks anymore.

 

You have to snap off the metal plate covering the slot where you want to install an expansion card.

 

Looks like he had to wrestle with that metal plate to remove it, so be careful that you don't cut yourself on that sharp metal.
