Open Device Manager, expand Audio inputs and outputs plus Sound, video and game controllers, then uninstall Realtek High Definition Audio or Intel HD Audio devices. Restart to let Windows reinstall them automatically and check sound. If issue remains then update your windows and also check optional updates in case it's available there

What operating system are you running o the PC?

 

The model series has been retired since it is more than 10 years old and HP never supported it for W10
