Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

when using the HDMI input on my AIO when the computer is on , it start making a rhythmic static sound that increases in volume and changes its frequency. this only happens when my computer is on,  If i have the computer itself off and use the HDMI input by itself there is no problem..

any Ideas?

i do prefer to leave my computer on in the background as it is also my plex server for the house.

I use the monitor on the AIO for my ps4

@ShavedWookie Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting a static noise from the computer.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Please perform the hard reset and check for the issue.

Hard Reset:

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.

3) Remove the Battery. ( not for Built-in Battery computer )

4) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.

5) Plug-in the Adapter and put the Battery back into the computer if it's a (removable battery)

6) Try to turn on the computer and check, If the issue persists continue next step

Please try with another HDMI cable and check.

If the issue still persists, please update the graphics drivers and BIOS.
