indeed, I have the same, but I do not have the memory of having had the icon, it has been under windows 10 for a long time
I just watched quickly my son is playing with it right now ..
But no options found for the icon!
On the other hand, in the start menu, the program must be here, if you right click, plus, pin to the taskbar, this can help

"it does not give me thee option to pin to taskbar,.. only start menu"
this option must be available for many programs.
you have clicked on the option
Otherwise I can't verify, look in programs launched at startup if not disabled

i can not currently do research on my pc ..
Is the audio beat visible in the settings, personalization, task bars, notification areas, select icons?
