I am writing to seek assistance with a persistent audio driver issue on my HP Omen 16 laptop.

My laptop, which supports Bang & Olufsen and DTS:X Ultra audio, seems to be experiencing a driver problem that prevents me from downloading any audio-related applications from the Microsoft Store. The store indicates that I do not have the necessary drivers installed.

I recently downloaded DTS Unbound, which successfully enabled DTS Headphone:X and virtual surround for speakers. However, the full DTS:X Ultra functionality, which I believe should be supported, is not enabled. I am seeking comprehensive support to fully resolve this audio driver issue and enable all advertised audio

features.

I previously attempted to contact technical support via WhatsApp but did not receive a response. The Al assistant indicated that it would connect me with a support agent, but no one followed up.

Could you please provide full assistance to troubleshoot and resolve this audio driver problem on my Omen 16 laptop? I am available to provide any additional information or perform troubleshooting steps as required.

Thanks for reaching out. To enable full DTS:X Ultra functionality on your HP Omen 16, ensure the latest Realtek HD Audio driver is installed from HP’s support page. Then, reinstall DTS Sound Unbound from the Microsoft Store. If DTS:X Ultra still doesn’t activate, check for missing DTS components in Device Manager and run Windows Update. For Bang & Olufsen and HP Audio Boost features, verify if HP Audio Control is available for your model. If not, contact HP Support directly via their official portal for escalation.

I contacted HP support Team through whatsapp support.They saying its a third-party software.They said to contact DTS support.if they cant fix the issue with the required driver then what can i do. I already tried to do what u said but the issue not fixed.my DTS headphoneX working fine.And there is DTS X virtual for speakers i guess there must be DTSX ultra instead of virtual.And there is no HP audio control in my laptop.
