Product: HP Pavilion dv7 Beats Edition
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I updated my laptop and now my beats audio on my laptop is no longer working. Also, the idt high definition audio codec is gone. Where do I go to reinstall that?

Hi, @HipsterJordan

 

No dv7 notebook is supported by HP for W10.

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install this W8.1/W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model notebook and see if that resolves the problem.  Restart the PC after installing this driver.

 

6.10.6491.0

 

This package contains the driver that enables the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.
