issue for mic

HP Recommended

i bought a new mic(boya) of trrs pin. but it's not supportable in my hp pc...in the videos in  youtube they are asking  to buy  a trrs to trs converter. is it necessary to again invest money or you guys could help me out

Have you tried using alternate earphones/headphones with a mic to check if that works?

 

Check for Windows update and install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant. 
  2. Check for updates. 
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.  

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

 

Also, perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue.
