Hi @sivam2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your laptop's built-in speaker. If you've already tried all the standard troubleshooting steps and the issue persists, you might want to consider the following options:

Check for Physical Damage: Inspect the speaker area for any physical damage that could be causing the buzzing. Sometimes debris or damage to the speaker grill can affect sound quality.

Update Audio Drivers: Make sure you have the latest audio drivers installed. You can use the HP Support Assistant to check for and install any available updates. HP Support Assistant | HP® Support

Audio Settings: Double-check your audio settings:

  • Right-click the sound icon on the taskbar and select "Playback devices".
  • Ensure the correct playback device is set as the default.
  • Click on your speaker and go to Properties > Enhancements. Try disabling all sound effects to see if this resolves the issue.

External Speaker or Headphones Test: Test the sound using external speakers or headphones. If the buzz is not present through them, it may indicate an issue with the internal speaker.

System Restore: If the buzzing started recently, consider performing a system restore to revert your system to a point before the issue started.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
