Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model desktop PC and see if that also works for your PC as well.  Restart the PC after installing the driver.

hi

It doesn't work, please specify.
the driver, does not install, or just still no sound?
You say speakers connect to the front, correct?

HP Pavilion p7-1423w Desktop PC Product Specifications

at the front you have an audio headphone jack
so you have to connect the speakers to the back, it's better

turn off the computer
unplug everything, except keyboard mouse and screen!
unplug the computer power supply
long press power button
After a few minutes, reconnect the power supply!
Do not connect the speakers!
Install the audio driver
right click on the downloaded file, "run as administrator"
follow the instructions
at the end, restart the computer
then open the device manager, and indicate whether or not the audio driver is installed
If yes, then turn off the computer, then connect the speakers to the dedicated socket on the back
